Apple released our big 1.2 update to the iPhone app store last week. The update has some nice new features and addresses some usability & stability feedback from our users. If you’re running an earlier version please update, we think you’ll be very happy with the release.
What’s new in 1.2:
- Support for geotagging of photos captured with Pixelpipe
- Ability to add and edit destinations from within the application
- Images are now auto-orientated in advance of uploading to destination
- Now preserving the EXIF tags when downscaling images in advance of upload
- Fixed a condition that was preventing some users from see all of their images on the phone
- Fixed a few issues that may have caused possible timeouts or crashes

We support geotags on Android now, we just pass them through if you’ve enabled them in the camera app. 1.2 is coming soon btw.

Flickr, Picasa and Nokia Ovi all have great support for displaying geotags from images. I know we support more however those are the three I’m most familiar with at the moment.

The problem was related to a conflict with images created by a 3rd party application and has been fixed now in our 1.3 update. You can download the update now and for free directly from the Apple App Store
