Have you ever wanted to update your status on Facebook or post to Twitter directly from your phone’s Instant message client? Now you can with the built in Contacts application on many Nokia Phones. In just a few easy steps you can add Pixelpipe as an IM contact and start posting to your favorite service(s) from the built-in Contacts application.
These are the steps we utilized to configure an N97, depending on the phone model your menus may look different however the basic steps should be very similar. Let’s get started!
1. If your phone doesn’t already have Ovi Contacts with Instant Message capability installed you can download the latest beta from http://tr.im/xdEG
2. Open Contacts and choose the Ovi menu (top middle) and then select “Invite Friends”
3. Change “Select service” to Other
4. Now enter pixelpipe@im.pixelpipe.com in the address field
5. Now you need to send Pixelpipe your application key so we can bind your IM account to your Pixelpipe account. You can your App key and instructions at http://pixelpipe.com/tools under the Nokia Contacts heading. You’ll need to sign-up for a free Pixelpipe account now if you haven’t done so yet.
6. You can now add your favorite mic0-blogs and status services from http://pixelpipe.com from the desktop or http://m.pixelpipe.com from your handset and start posting from Nokia Contacts.

This is great and it comes in time for N900 as well.
But could you please look into Chrome support? Please offer a bookmark capable of catching web images and sharing them via social networks (a favourite activity of sharing funny pics for Twitter and especially Facebook users). Fiendfeed and Favit bookmarks are capable of catching images off a page, so it’s not rocket science to develop a quality professional and expansive bookmark for Pixelpipe especially considering how good your service is.
